It's Monday: What Are You Reading? (23)

What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted over at Book Journey where bloggers gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week.

This is week 7 of the fall semester of grad school. I'm really starting to get hit with projects and papers all around. Materials for Youth class is going well and I got 100% on my picture books paper (yay!). We read interesting books and have great discussions. It's definitely my favorite class. Library Management is going well for the most part, but it's frustrating to try to coordinate groupwork for an online class. Cataloging is confusing, but I'm doing okay grade wise, and my professor realized that she needed to extend the deadline on one of our assignments to give us more time to learn the material. Whew! Hopefully in between homework assignments this week I can squeeze in some fun reading!

I finished:

The Sweetness of Salt by Cecelia Galante (ARC)
The Sweetness of Salt

Bone, Vol. 1: Out from Boneville by Jeff Smith (graphic novel - for grad school)
Bone, Vol. 1: Out From Boneville

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale (audiobook - for grad school)
Princess Academy

I am currently reading:

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins (for grad school)
Gregor The Overlander (Underland Chronicles, Book 1)

Good Girls Don't Get Fat by Robin Silverman (eBook ARC)
Good Girls Don't Get Fat: How Weight Obsession Is Messing Up Our Girls and How We Can Help Them Thrive Despite It

No Plot, No Problem! by Chris Bates (for work)
No Plot? No Problem!: A Low-Stress, High-Velocity Guide to Writing a Novel in 30 Days

Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen (eBook - for fun)
Northanger Abbey

Dracula's Guest edited by Michael Sims (for fun)
Dracula's Guest: A Connoisseur's Collection of Victorian Vampire Stories

Next up:

Unwind by Neal Shusterman (audiobook - for grad school)
 Unwind

Plus I renewed a few library books in the hopes that I'll have time to read them this month:

Shadowed Summer by Saundra Mithcell
Shadowed Summer

A Kiss in Winter by Susan Crandall
A Kiss in Winter (Warner Forever)

What are you reading?

I hear you on the group work. I just finished a month long group project for an online class (information retrieval). Good luck!

Mostly I read picture books. Here's what I'm reading this week.
