In My Mailbox (27)

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a time for everyone to share what books they acquired over the course of the week. I'll share what I received in the mail, bought at bookstores, downloaded, or picked up from the library.

This week in my Materials for Youth class we are writing papers on nonfiction books for youth. I remember hating math in middle & high school. I thought I'd pick up these books by Danica McKellar and read them for this assignment. If Danica can convince ME that math doesn't suck, maybe she can convince young girls too. :)

From the library:

Math Doesn't Suck by Danica McKellar
Math Doesn't Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind or Breaking a Nail

Kiss My Math by Danica McKellar
Kiss My Math: Showing Pre-Algebra Who's Boss

Hot X by Danica McKellar
Hot X: Algebra Exposed

From the bookstore:

The Curse of the Wendigo by Rick Yancy
The Curse of the Wendigo (Monstrumologist)

I've been excited about this one for awhile, ever since I read The Monstrumologist

What's in your mailbox this week?
