On my way home from work tonight I stopped at the bookstore to pick up a copy of
The Lover's Dictionary
by David Levithan, one of my favorite authors. This is Levithan's first title for adults, and I've been hearing some great things about it. (Check out this uniquely written review from
My Head Is Full of Books!) I can't wait to read it. Have you picked up this book yet? Did you know there's also a
Twitter account with extra entries to go along with it? I might just have to break down and finally create my own Twitter account just to follow it. :)
When I got home, I turned on the TV and saw that Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist was on tonight. Of course I got sucked in because I absolutely
adore this movie. As much as I enjoy the movie version though, I loved
the book
by David Levithan & Rachel Cohn even more.
If you're a big fan of Levithan's like me, you may want to join the
Q&A with David Levithan group on Goodreads. He'll be answering questions from readers from January 17-21.
Just for fun, I'll leave you with this happy picture of John Green & David Levithan from their
Will Grayson, Will Grayson
book tour stop in Indy.

I just read a review of The Lover's Dictionary on Chick Lit Reviews (from Danielle at There's a Book). It sounds awesome!! I'm going to go read the review from My Head is Full of Books now. I'm going to guess it was written dictionary style??
Love is the Higher Law is BY FAR my favorite example of Levithan's writing, but I have a feeling that The Lover's Dictionary will give it some competition :)
