Ringgold Reads

Recently, Ringgold Middle School and Ringgold High School in Georgia were heavily damaged by tornadoes. Julie of Book Hooked has teamed up with author Susan Gregg Gilmore and Random House to help rebuild the libraries of these Title I schools.

You can help by donating new or gently used copies of books that the schools desperately need. (View a list of needed titles on Julie's blog and get details on where to send the books.) Look through your shelves for any extra copies you may have. Check your local bookstore's bargain section for any of the titles on the list. Dig out those unused gift cards and order some books.

If you're a book blogger, please spread the word to your followers! Visit Ringgold Reads on Facebook or Twitter.

Greetings SuperLibrian: I followed you over here from Ringgold and Book Hooked Blog. I'm planning to post about the campaign to restore Ringgold's libraries tomorrow. Hope to create some buzz about this. They deserve it.

I love libraries!
