My #9 pick for 2011 is:
Seriously...I'm Kidding by Ellen Degeneres
This is another great audiobook read by the author.
(I promise there will be some print books on my list eventually too!)
Description from Goodreads:
"Sometimes the greatest things are the most embarrassing." Ellen Degeneres' winning, upbeat candor has made her show one of the most popular, resilient and honored daytime shows on the air. (To date, it has won no fewer than 31 Emmys.) Seriously... I'm Kidding, Degeneres' first book in eight years, brings us up to date about the life of a kindhearted woman who bowed out of American Idol because she didn't want to be mean. Lively; hilarious; often sweetly poignant."

I am always looking for good audiobooks to listen to while I walk for exercise. This one sounds like it would give me some extra pep in my step :)
I just found your blog, and think it's great. Sorry to hear that your library is suffering; seems to be the case all across the country. Ours just narrowly escaped having to cut back a day.
