You can never have too many bookshelves, right? I used to work at The Container Store, and I've had my eye on one of these leaning bookcases ever since. My parents decided to get it for me as a Christmas gift (thanks mom and dad!). It fits perfectly in this little corner of my living room. Here's how I organized it:
The bottom shelf holds two boxes (also from The Container Store). The left box is for my library books, DVDs, and audiobooks so I can keep track of them easily. The right box holds several small humor books and gift books that don't fit into any other category on my shelves. It also has my extra bookmarks, eReader covers, and chargers.
These two shelves hold my print TBR pile. These are a mix of books that I purchased, won, received as review copies for my blog, or received for my committee reading assignments. If I decide keep the book after reading, I'll move it to another shelf. (Otherwise, I'll donate it to the library or sell it to a used bookstore.)
How do you organize your bookshelves? And what bookish items are on your holiday wishlist?
