Top Ten Classics I Want to Read

As a former English teacher and a current librarian and book blogger, people often assume I've read ALL the classics. I have read quite a few, but there are plenty of gaps in my reading life that I'd love to fill in! Here are some of the classics I most want to read:

Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Dracula by Bram Stoker

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain

The Hunchback of Notre Dame by Victor Hugo

The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells

Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson

What classics are you most wanting to read?

I have read a lot of these and particularly loved Peter Pan and Frankenstein. I really didn't enjoy Crime & Punishment or understand it well but hot on my list is Far From The Madding Crowd by Thomas Hady
